Centre for Negative Blood group Response and Research (CNBRR) has emerged in the context of meeting the urgent need of emergency patients or cases, especially who require negative group of blood according to ABO blood grouping.About 95% of people have positive group of blood and remaining 5% negative group. So, it becomes a serious matter of concern when there is an urgent need of blood for people with negative blood group. It is even more serious, even fatal; especially when multiple bags of negative group of blood is needed for an emergency patient.

CNBRR aims to create an enabling environment of ensuring voluntary donation of blood, with an special focus on negative blood group, for saving the lives of the people, who are in urgent need, through raising people's awareness and creating a social movement.
